BASIC CERTIFICATIONS

Basic level certification are trainers who can teach a dog the 5 basic obedience commands (come, sit, down, heel and stay).  They can teach these commands on and off leash and under high and low distractions.

Basic level includes stopping common unwanted behavior from any dog including:

*Jumping

*Mouthing

*Chewing

*Excessive barking 

Basic level trainers can potty train a dog in any environment.

Cadet-currently training to become a level 1 dog trainer. 

Level 1-Have handled and trained over 25 dogs of all ages for basic obedience training.

Level 2-Have handled or trained over 100 dogs of all ages for basic obedience training.

Level 3-Have handled or trained over 200 dogs of all ages for basic obedience training.

Level 4-Have handled or trained over 300 dogs of all ages for basic obedience training.

Level 5-Have handled or trained over 400 dogs of all ages for basic obedience training.

Master Trainer-Have handled or trained over 1000 dogs for basic obedience training.

Master Commander Trainer-Have handled or trained over 5000 dogs for basic obedience training.

  BEHAVIOR CERTIFICATIONS

Behavior level certification are trainers who are certified to handle dogs displaying dominant, anti-social behavior including aggression.

Behavior Level 1-Have handled or trained over 50 dogs that displayed dominant behavior including aggression toward people, other animals, or objects.

Behavior Level 2-Have handled or trained over 100 dogs that displayed dominant behavior including aggression toward people, other animals, or objects. 

Behavior Level 3-Have handled or trained over 200 dogs that displayed dominant behavior including aggression toward people, other animals, or objects. 

Behavior Master-Have handled or trained over 300 dogs that displayed dominant behavior including aggression toward people, other animals, or objects.

 SPECIALTY CERTIFICATIONS

Specialty certifications are trainers who are certified to do any of the following:

Therapy-certified therapy dog trainer.

CGC-certified canine good citizen trainer.

Service Dog-certified service dog trainer.

Agility-certified agility trainer.

Personal Protection-certified personal protection trainer.

Tracking-certified tracking trainer.
